A Keene State College Safety Education Center Course.
Course Description: This 40-hour course is designed for contractors, military and government employees who enforce or must comply with the requirements of USACE EM385-1-1. Topics include: Navy and USACE contract procedures; OSHA and its role on the USACE project; SSHO (Site Safety and Health Officer) qualifications and responsibilities; APP (Accident Prevention Plans) development; AHA (Activity Hazard Analysis) development; Job site auditing; USACE safety and health requirements (EM385-1-1). Upon successful completion, students receive a course certificate and an OSHA 30-Hour construction card.
