The following notes are reminders from our Outreach Trainer Coordinator of practices that will improve your Outreach Trainer performance and experience:
- Order cards through the portal within 30 days –under 30– of end date of training.
- Students must sign in DAILY on sign-in sheets. This is NOT part of the 10 hours of instruction.
- Outreach trainers must make copies of completed DOL cards and keep w/ course records.
- ADVANCED NOTICE: ALWAYS send to advancenotice@keene.edu along with a detailed agenda.
- Cards MUST be delivered to individual person that took the class, NOT to the company.
- Tell 10/30 hr students to make copies of their wallet cards or take a front/back picture with their smart phone.
- Replacement cards are available now for past 5 years. If ordered through the portal, then order replacement through portal. If the lost card is prior to portal – June 2014, send in LOST CARD FORM, available on our website.<
- Please locate the Outreach Trainer menu on the left at our website. There is a great deal of Outreach Trainer info there: OT Portal, Advanced Notification, Outreach Card Replacement, OT Audits, OT News & Resources, Program Requirements.
- Once you, as an Outreach trainer, have an ID#, you do not ever register again on the portal. When you get your updated trainer card, click on “add trainer card” but do not register again. Keep the same ID#.
- Spelling errors: student names must be entered correctly when put in the portal. Replacements for spelling errors are $25 each.
