Course Description: Designed for personnel, contractors, military and government employees who are required to comply with, or who enforce, the EM 385-1-1 US Army Corps of Engineers safety and health requirements. Topics include, but are not limited to: Preparation of Site-Specific Accident Prevention Plan (APP); Introduction to OSHA; Site Safety Health Officer’s Qualifications & Responsibilities; Activity Hazard Analysis development; Hazard and Risk Assessment; personnel training; emergency response; job site auditing; confined space safety; fall protection; and hazard communication. Upon successful completion, participants will receive an EM 385-1-1 Certificate of Completion and an OSHA 30-Hour Outreach for Construction card from the course instructor (an OSHA-Authorized Outreach Trainer). Attendees also receive a current copy of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements Manual. Includes the OSHA Outreach Construction 30-hour DOL card.
