Course Description: This course identifies hazards and controls associated with scaffolds as well as the OSHA regulations and applicable consensus and proprietary standards. Subject matter will address various types of scaffolding including supported, suspended, and aerial lifts. Topics of discussion include: types of scaffolds; general hazard categories of physical, structural, mechanical, electrical and health; and training requirements. In addition to “open enrollment” dates, training may be conducted at your site and customized to the scaffolds utilized within the facility or on the job site.
Who will benefit by attending: anyone working on or near scaffolds; supervisors; safety professionals; and employee and employer representatives.
