Course Description: This course explores the science of toxicology and its workplace application. Basic concepts are described and historic examples of occupational disease occurrence are used to integrate these concepts. In addition, federal/state regulatory requirements resulting from these historic cases of occupational disease are examined, along with expectations and responsibilities for safety and health professionals in the industrial environment.
